Charlotte is a fully certified traditional acupuncturist with a professional licentiate in acupuncture. After three years of studying at degree level, she was awarded a distinction.
Charlotte practices traditional acupuncture which is rooted in ancient Chinese medicine philosophy and techniques. She predominantly practices Five Element acupuncture. This is a very gentle, effective style of acupuncture that works at a deep constitutional level to get to the root cause of symptoms and aims for lasting effects. She also incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to add extra therapeutic benefits to the treatments. Other techniques, such as cupping, gua sha and moxibustion are also added to treatments when they are needed.
Charlotte works in general practice so she see’s patients with a wide range of ailments and conditions. She also has a particular interest in chronic pain, women’s health and mental health. She loves helping patients regain balance and control of their health with the powerful effects of acupuncture.
Charlotte is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, which is a member of the Accredited Register scheme run by the Professional Standards Authority and backed by the government.
